Students are expected to arrive on time and prepared. Students who are late are expected to have a pass. Three tardies will result in a write-up. If a student misses a class, it is his/her responsibility to get the missed assignments and turn them in. Late work will be accepted for full credit only in the case of an excused absence. Tests will be made up in class on the first day the student returns to class, and the students will be responsible for making up work missed during that class period. Students will be required to complete reading assignments, both inside and outside of class. Independent work, group work and partner work are all important aspects of this class. Students are expected to remain on task in all settings. It is expected for students to put their best effort into their assignments. Technology is used heavily throughout this class. Students who lose computer privileges at school will still be expected to complete the work assigned through Google Classroom on their own time.
